About the role

A 3–6-month internship in Frankfurt or Berlin supporting Deutsche Bank’s international Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility teams. You will contribute to corporate communications, CSR initiatives, digital content, AI-supported communication solutions, media relations, employee engagement, and art and culture projects while receiving structured training and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations and projects across international Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility teams.
  • Help organize and develop education programs, social projects, environmental initiatives, and global aid campaigns.
  • Support CSR communications, project impact measurement, and employee volunteering activities with international teams and foundations.
  • Contribute to media relations, internal communications, business communications, digital content, and communications impact analysis.
  • Create and distribute website, intranet, and social media content, including films and podcasts.
  • Support digital channel management, AI-supported communication solutions, art projects, collection management, and cultural initiatives.

Program and Support

  • Internship locations are Frankfurt am Main and Berlin, with the duration individually arranged.
  • Receive professional training support and access to a learning portal.
  • Participate in intern engagement activities, including networking events and the dbSteps Community.
  • Receive support from experienced mentors and former trainees serving as buddies from the first day.

Requirements

  • Be at least in your third university semester with excellent academic performance.
  • Study communications, journalism, business administration, economics, humanities, or social sciences.
  • Have previous practical experience in a company or editorial environment, such as an internship or part-time role.
  • Demonstrate fluent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Show initiative, curiosity, creativity, flexibility, teamwork, strong judgement, and the ability to persuade and inspire others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience is advantageous.
