About the role

This 3–6-month internship in Deutsche Bank’s CEO Office in Frankfurt supports the Chairman’s agenda and senior-management decision-making. Interns prepare presentations, decision papers, briefings and speeches, work across business areas, and assess trends in generative AI and digital technologies. The start date is individually plannable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare presentations, decision papers and briefings for the Management Board and Supervisory Board.
  • Support speeches for the Chairman and Global Head across internal and external stakeholder formats.
  • Identify generative AI and digital-technology trends and develop strategic use cases for the bank.
  • Advance topics independently across business areas and contribute as a full team member.

About the Team

  • The CEO Office works directly on the Chairman’s agenda and supports senior-management decisions.
  • The team prepares cross-divisional topics through implementation across business areas and infrastructure functions.
  • Interns gain a bank-wide perspective rather than focusing on one individual business division.

Requirements

  • Near completion of a bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a master’s degree programme.
  • Relevant fields include business administration, economics, business law, business informatics or a comparable discipline.
  • Strong academic performance, analytical thinking, structured working methods and ability to understand topics quickly.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including storylining and top-down communication.
  • Fluent German and English, confidence with senior management and discretion with confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Initial experience in banking, strategy consulting or a comparable environment.
  • Sound understanding of how a globally operating bank functions and the products it offers.
  • Practical experience with AI applications, demonstrated through personally created or improved use cases.
  • Willingness to challenge established approaches rather than accepting them without question.
