About the role

A 2–6-month internship in Group Audit, based in Frankfurt, Berlin or Bonn. You will support audits and projects in international teams, assess control weaknesses, and gain exposure to divisional, infrastructure and central functions while learning audit methods, systems and financial services.

Role and Team

  • Group Audit acts as Deutsche Bank’s independent third line of defense and supports the identification of control weaknesses.
  • The global team includes more than 700 employees across major locations and 26 additional countries.
  • Interns work with colleagues and specialists across international, divisional, infrastructure and central teams.

Responsibilities and Exposure

  • Support audits and projects while applying and deepening your academic knowledge.
  • Gain insight into Group Audit’s role in strategic objectives and ethical standards.
  • Learn about the bank’s products, services, methods and systems through daily work and special projects.
  • Potential areas include Private Bank, Corporate Bank, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Strategy, Data Analytics and HR.
  • Central teams include Methodology, Staff Development and Quality Assurance.
