Join D. E. Shaw as a Fundamental Research Analyst Intern in New York for a 10-week summer program. Conduct in-depth company and industry research to identify investment opportunities in a collaborative environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct research and due diligence on companies and industry sectors.
- Analyze data from traditional and alternative sources.
- Stay updated on news and market trends.
- Support investment decision-making with detailed analysis.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Interest in financial markets and stock analysis.
- Attention to detail and ability to generate investment ideas.
- Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program in any field.
- No prior finance experience required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly base salary of $25,000 plus overtime pay.
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000.
- Travel coverage to and from internship location.
- Choice of furnished summer housing or $10,000 housing allowance.
- $3,300 stipend for self-study materials and $4,000 for technology equipment.
