About the role
Ten-week summer internship in Singapore with one of D. E. Shaw’s strategy and business development groups: Corporate Development, COO Group, or Investor Relations. Interns collaborate on commercially impactful projects supporting strategic decision-making through research, project management, quantitative modeling, and data analytics across markets, marketing, internal consulting, and firm initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects supporting the firm’s strategic decision-making and commercial outcomes.
- Assess potential markets for trading strategies and conduct qualitative or quantitative research.
- Research and propose SEO and GEO improvements for the firm’s website.
- Develop cost-benefit models for new marketing content and initiatives.
- Support internal consulting projects, including office expansion and generative AI adoption research.
