About the role

Citi’s 10-week Services Summer Analyst Program in London offers university students hands-on experience supporting institutional financial services. Following initial training and team placement, analysts contribute to financial analysis, market research, client engagement, business development and process improvement, while developing technology and AI-related capabilities through projects, mentorship and networking.

About the Team

• Citi Services supports institutional clients through cash management, trade finance, custody, fund administration and collateral management.
• The organization uses analytics and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, generate insights and enhance client services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research assessing industry trends and macroeconomic factors.
• Develop materials supporting business development, product commercialization and revenue growth opportunities.
• Assist process optimization initiatives designed to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Analyze client data to identify opportunities and improve service offerings.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating analysis and AI-generated insights to stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Participate in networking events, training sessions and leadership discussions.

Program and Development

• Complete a 10-week Summer Analyst Program combining training with real, on-the-job learning.
• Attend an initial training week before placement according to interests and business needs.
• Own projects that create meaningful impact for the assigned team.
• Access mentorship, career development sessions and networking opportunities with senior Citi professionals.
• Successful Summer Analysts may be invited to return as full-time Analysts after graduation.
