About the role
Citi is hiring full-time Markets analysts in London for a competitive program beginning in Summer 2026. Analysts rotate across products and functions, receive training and mentoring, and support sales, trading, structuring, market analysis, client solutions, market making, risk management, and trade execution across major asset classes.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse macroeconomic and quantitative market information to support the team’s activities.
- Develop growth strategies across product lines using client and market data.
- Assist with preparing innovative solutions for clients and supporting client interactions.
- Shadow desks and asset classes across the trading floor to build product knowledge and networks.
- Develop expertise in liquidity dynamics, market making, risk management, and trade execution.
Program and training
- Rotate across product and function, with additional rotation opportunities within the allocated product.
- Receive orientation, analyst training, and an introduction to Citi’s culture and Markets fundamentals.
- Gain exposure to Fixed Income, Currency, Commodity, and Equity franchises across sales, trading, and structuring.
- Receive mentoring from senior professionals throughout the program.
- Assume increasing responsibility and client interaction as knowledge and expertise develop.
