About the role
Citi’s 10-week Services Summer Analyst Program in London offers university students hands-on experience across financial analysis, business development, client engagement, and market research. Participants receive initial training, complete impactful team projects, and explore how analytics and AI support efficiency, client service, risk management, and product development within institutional financial services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research assessing industry trends and macroeconomic impacts.
- Develop materials supporting business development, product commercialisation, and revenue growth.
- Assist process optimisation initiatives designed to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Analyse client data to identify opportunities and improve service offerings.
- Prepare reports and presentations communicating analysis to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Participate in networking events, training sessions, and leadership discussions.
Training and Development
- Complete an initial training week before placement with a team.
- Receive hands-on learning through projects that drive meaningful business impact.
- Access mentorship, career development sessions, and networking opportunities with senior professionals.
- Successful Summer Analysts may be invited to return as full-time Analysts after graduation.
Requirements
- Be a university student graduating in Summer 2028 and on track to achieve a 2.1.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Show interest in financial services and technology’s role in transforming the industry.
- Demonstrate accuracy, organisation, time management, attention to detail, and autonomy.
- Display integrity, resilience, urgency, and a strong desire to learn.
