About the role

Citi’s 10-week Services Summer Analyst Program in London provides hands-on experience supporting institutional financial services. After initial training and placement, analysts contribute to market research, financial analysis, business development, client engagement, process optimisation, and data-driven service improvements, including applications of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.

Program and training

• Complete an initial week of training before placement according to interests and business needs.
• Work closely with an assigned team and own projects delivering meaningful business impact.
• Receive mentorship, career development sessions, networking opportunities, and leadership exposure.
• Successful participants may be invited to return as full-time Analysts after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on industry trends and macroeconomic factors affecting financial services.
• Develop materials supporting business development, product commercialisation, and revenue growth opportunities.
• Support process optimisation initiatives that improve efficiency and help mitigate operational risk.
• Analyse client data to identify opportunities and improve service offerings using analytical techniques.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating complex analysis and AI-generated business insights.
• Participate in networking events, training sessions, and leadership discussions.

Candidate profile

• Be a university student graduating in Summer 2028 and on track to achieve a 2.1.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and innovative business skills.
• Show interest in financial services and how technology and AI are transforming the industry.
• Bring strong interpersonal, relationship-building, written, and verbal communication skills.
