About the role
Citi’s 10-week London Investment Banking Summer Associate program begins in June 2027. Participants receive introductory and technical training, then join an industry group for nine weeks, supporting client advisory and capital markets work across mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, securities underwriting, and related financial services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct industry analysis and research to provide actionable advice to corporate clients.
- Manage multiple complex banking projects, including timelines and stakeholder expectations.
- Develop professional new-business presentations tailored to diverse client needs.
- Collaborate with Managing Directors and Directors to build long-term client relationships.
Industry Groups
- Following training, associates join FIG, Industrials, NRCET, TMT: Comms, or TMT: Tech.
- Industry-group placement considers individual interests and business requirements.
