About the role

Citi’s 10-week Summer Analyst program places students with the London Financial Institutions Group investment banking team. Starting in June 2027, analysts receive initial training before supporting financial analysis, business development, transactions, valuation work, presentations, and coordination across internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Research industries and companies, collect information, and organize financial data supporting transactions.
• Develop financial models covering valuations, discounted cash flow, financing, and comparative analyses.
• Prepare and finalize business development presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams throughout transaction processes.
• Prepare internal documentation, including materials relating to control and compliance requirements.

Program and Working Model

• The 10-week summer analyst program starts in June 2027.
• The program begins with one week of training in London.
• Participants then join the UK, Europe and MEA Financial Institutions Group team.
• The role offers hybrid working, with three mandatory office days and two optional home-working days.
• Successful summer analysts may be considered for a full-time position after graduation.

Candidate Profile

• Applicants must be in their penultimate or final year of university.
• Applicants should expect or have achieved a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent, in any discipline.
