About the role

Citi’s 10-week Summer Analyst program places university students with the London Financial Institutions Group. Interns receive investment banking training before supporting financial analysis, valuation, business development, transaction research, presentations, and coordination across teams. Successful analysts may be considered for a full-time position after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse company information, including industry research and organised financial data.
• Build financial models covering valuations, discounted cash flow, financing, and comparative analyses.
• Create and finalise business development presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams.
• Prepare internal documentation, including control and compliance materials.

Working Model and Progression

• The role currently follows a hybrid model with three mandatory office days and up to two optional home-working days.
• Successful Summer Analysts will be considered for a full-time position after graduation.
