About the role
Citi’s Banking Group is recruiting summer analysts for its London Financing team. The programme supports corporate and government clients with capital-raising and financing packages, combining investment banking activities with market-focused work. The 10-week programme begins in June with training, and successful analysts may be considered for full-time roles after graduation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support corporate and government clients in developing and implementing financing packages.
- Demonstrate how derivatives can limit interest-rate and credit risk.
- Originate, market, structure, and execute fixed-income and equity transactions.
- Work with corporate clients and contribute to fixed-income and equity relationships.
Programme Details
- The 10-week summer analyst programme starts in June.
- The programme begins with one week of training.
- Successful summer analysts may be considered for full-time positions after graduation.
- The role is based at 33 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London.
- The working model requires three assigned-office days, with two optional home-working days.
Candidate Profile
- Applicants must be in their penultimate or final year of university.
- Expected or achieved undergraduate result of 2:1 or equivalent, in any degree discipline.
- Interest in developing a deep understanding of the financial industry.
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to finding creative ideas.
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
