About the role
Citi seeks a placement analyst for its London Corporate Banking team. The six-month programme starts in February and combines training with hands-on work in financial analysis, credit assessment, client ideas, deal structuring, and product collaboration. The role is full time and hybrid, with three mandatory office days and optional home working.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow, capital markets, risk, and credit analysis.
- Liaise with product partners and support the development of client presentations and ideas.
- Assist with structuring deals and understanding client capital, liquidity, funding, and risk needs.
Programme Details
- Six-month programme beginning in February, with placement in a Corporate Banking team.
- Training and support provided to develop the knowledge and skills required for the role.
- Hybrid working model includes three mandatory office days and up to two optional home-working days.
- The role is based at 33 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5LB.
Requirements
- Currently studying in the penultimate year of university, in any degree discipline.
- Expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrated interest in business and desire to develop financial industry knowledge.
- Strong communication, planning, organisational, teamwork, learning, and personal development skills.
- Commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.
Desirable Qualifications
- Fluency in a second language is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is advantageous.
