About the role

Citi’s London Corporate Banking Analyst Program offers full-time graduates a relationship-focused role advising corporate clients on capital structure, liquidity, funding, risk management, investment solutions, and financial decisions. Analysts receive intensive training, support deal structuring and client ideas, collaborate across Citi, and may pursue internal mobility during the program.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow modelling, capital markets, risk, and credit analysis.
  • Liaise with product partners and collaborate with Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination.
  • Assist with presenting and developing new ideas for clients.
  • Structure deals and support decisions about investing Citi’s capital.
  • Develop client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity, funding, risk management, and investment solutions.

Training and Program

  • The Analyst Program starts in mid-July 2027 with six-to-eight weeks of in-depth training in London.
  • Training covers Corporate Banking fundamentals, relevant financial topics, and Citi’s culture.
  • After training, Analysts join a Corporate Banking team for the remainder of the program.
  • Internal mobility opportunities may be available by the third year of the program.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be in their final university year or have already graduated.
  • Expected or achieved undergraduate result of 2:1 or equivalent, in any degree discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest in business and desire to understand the financial industry deeply.
  • Strong communication, planning, organizational, teamwork, learning, and career-development commitment.
  • Unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.

Additional Information

  • The role is based at 33 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5LB.
  • Hybrid working currently requires three mandatory office days and allows two optional home-working days.
  • This is a Certified Role subject to the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
  • Fit-and-proper assessment may include interviews, self-disclosures, criminal-record, reference, credit, and other background checks.
