About the role
Citi seeks Full-Time Analysts for its 2026 Markets Sales and Trading team in São Paulo. Analysts gain exposure to financing solutions, trading, and products serving corporations, governments, and institutional investors, while building market knowledge, client relationships, and a foundation for long-term careers within Citi.
Role responsibilities
- Support Markets activities including financing solutions, trading, and products for institutional clients.
- Transact across a wide variety of products in a fast-paced environment.
- Build relationships with institutional investors across global markets.
- Conduct research and analyze financial statements, risk assessments, and data reports.
- Identify and communicate key market themes, trends, and headlines.
Program and training
- Receive knowledge and training designed to support success on the assigned team.
- Access senior professionals serving as mentors throughout the program.
- Learn about different product areas through mentoring and networking.
- Potentially join a team aligned with skills, interests, and firm needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree graduation by July 2027, or graduation within the previous two years.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, lookups, and basic modeling.
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Foundational understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and global market trends.
