About the role
Citi’s Markets Analyst Program in Bogotá offers full-time graduates an intensive introduction to sales and trading. Analysts support financing solutions, trading, and products for corporations, governments, and institutional investors, while building market knowledge and professional relationships. The selective program includes training, senior mentorship, and placement aligned with skills, interests, and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support financing solutions, trading activities, and products for corporations, governments, and institutional investors.
- Transact across a wide variety of products in a fast-paced, dynamic markets environment.
- Build relationships with institutional investors across global markets.
- Research global markets and analyze financial statements, risk assessments, and data reports.
- Identify and articulate important market themes, trends, and developments.
Program and Development
- Receive knowledge and training designed to support success within the Markets team.
- Access senior professionals serving as mentors throughout the program.
- Network with mentors and learn about their product areas.
- Join a team aligned with your skills, personal interests, and Citi’s business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed by March 2027, or graduation within the previous two years.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency, including data analysis, lookups, and basic modeling.
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Foundational understanding of financial markets, asset classes, global trends, and current market headlines.
