About the role

Citi Commercial Banking is hiring full-time analysts in São Paulo for a two-year program supporting companies with $100 million to $1 billion in annual sales. Analysts develop commercial credit, sales, product, technology, risk, and financial analysis skills before placement with a Commercial Banking team.

Program Details

  • Support Citi Commercial Banking clients and help maximize growth through appropriate banking products and services.
  • Receive training in accounting, credit and risk, sales, products, technology, and financial analysis.
  • Complete a placement process based on personal interests and business needs before joining a Commercial Banking team.
  • Potential placements include Risk Analyst, CMO, or Investment Executive roles.
  • Become eligible for a Commercial Relationship Banker position after completing the training program.

Responsibilities

  • Build client relationships by anticipating needs, resolving portfolio issues, and identifying opportunities to deepen share of wallet.
  • Partner with senior relationship managers, product specialists, and subject-matter experts to structure customized commercial solutions.
  • Identify and pursue prospective clients while developing relationships with industry associations, influencers, and senior business contacts.
  • Support innovative client solutions and leverage capabilities across Citi businesses to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Ensure transactions balance risk and reward, protect Citi assets and reputation, and follow regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, graduating by July 2027, or graduated within the last two years.
  • English and Portuguese proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating organization, motivation, initiative, and leadership potential.
  • Ability to prepare meeting analyses and materials and interact professionally and insightfully with clients.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with innovative and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Cooperative approach and focus on achieving group and client objectives.
