About the role

Citi’s 10-week Services Summer Analyst Program in New York provides hands-on experience across financial analysis, market research, business development, client engagement, and process optimization. After initial training and placement, analysts own impactful projects, use data and emerging AI capabilities, and receive mentorship, networking, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on industry trends and macroeconomic factors affecting financial services.
• Support business development, product commercialization, revenue growth, and business cases for AI-enabled services.
• Analyze client data to identify opportunities and improve service offerings and delivery.
• Contribute to process optimization, risk mitigation, and evaluation of AI-powered workflow automation.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating analysis and AI-generated insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Participate in networking events, training sessions, and leadership discussions.

Program and Development

• Complete an initial training week before placement based on interests and business needs.
• Work closely with assigned teams while owning projects that create meaningful business impact.
• Gain exposure to institutional services including cash management, trade finance, custody, and fund administration.
• Receive mentorship, career development sessions, and networking opportunities with Citi leaders and professionals.
• Successful Summer Analysts may be invited to return as full-time Analysts after graduation.
