About the role

Citi’s two-year Technology Analyst Program in Mississauga begins in July and develops scalable software solutions in an agile environment. Analysts rotate across teams, build technical and business skills, and contribute to global banking technology projects spanning application development, generative AI, data analytics, digital banking, cybersecurity, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality, scalable software solutions based on business requirements and coding standards.
• Test and debug code using appropriate tools to support defect-free programming.
• Support testing cycles and post-production deployments.
• Participate in peer coding reviews and work within an agile software development environment.

Technology Exposure

• Back-end development may include Java, Python, and the Spring Framework.
• Front-end development may include React, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5, Swift, and Kotlin.
• Generative AI exposure may include GitHub Copilot, automated code reviews, agentic code generation, and prompt engineering.
• Data analytics may use Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics to measure product adoption and business value.

Program Experience

• The two-year Analyst Program starts in July and includes rotations across more than one team.
• New hires join a cohort and receive training on Citi, its tools, processes, and technical skills.
• Structured learning, networking, mentoring, and development programs support technical, business, and leadership growth.
• Analysts work on globally scoped projects with cross-functional teams and contribute to banking technology initiatives.
