About the role
Citi’s Tampa Risk Management Summer Analyst program introduces college students to risk governance, best practices, and financial-services risk through placement on specialist teams. Interns contribute to analytical projects, develop technical, communication, and presentation skills, and receive mentorship while building business acumen and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Work on challenging risk projects across Enterprise, Market, Model, Operational, Personal Banking, or Wealth Management Risk.
- Assess risk, explore data, identify data-quality issues, and support statistical or non-statistical analysis.
- Develop business acumen, leadership skills, and knowledge of financial services and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with management teams and contribute value to Citi’s Risk organization.
Training and Support
- Complete foundational training, Citi orientation, and business overviews led by experienced Risk professionals.
- Build technical, communication, presentation, and professional workplace skills throughout the program.
- Receive guidance from both junior and senior mentors during the internship.
- Gain exposure to risk management, governance, best practices, and Citi’s business operations.
