About the role

Citi’s 10-week Summer Analyst internship places students in the Enterprise Services and Public Affairs function, with primary opportunities in Communications and Real Estate Services. Participants receive training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and real-world assignments, concluding with a presentation. Strong performers may receive offers for ESPA’s two-year full-time rotational program.

ESPA Function

• ESPA manages Citi’s reputation through stakeholder engagement and delivers spaces and services to colleagues and clients.
• The function includes Communications, Real Estate Services, Government Affairs, ESG and Sustainability, and other enterprise teams.

Internship Experience

• Join a specific ESPA team, with primary opportunities focused on Communications and Real Estate Services.
• Complete real-world assignments and contribute significantly to team priorities throughout the 10-week internship.
• Connect with Citi interns, program participants, alumni, and ESPA professionals through networking opportunities and speaker events.
• Present accomplishments and lessons learned during the program’s concluding final presentation.

Training and Career Development

• Complete introductory training covering Citi, essential technology, and the ESPA organization.
• Receive support from senior and junior mentors throughout the internship.
• The program serves as a direct feeder to ESPA’s two-year full-time rotational program.
