Banking - Investment Banking, Summer Associate, Houston Energy (North America – 2027)

About the role

Citi’s Houston Investment Banking Energy team is seeking Summer Associates for a 10-week 2027 program. Associates conduct industry research, manage multiple banking projects, and develop business presentations supporting strategic advisory work, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financings for corporate, financial-services, and public-sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry analysis and research to advise corporate clients.
• Manage multiple banking projects, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop new business presentations for investment banking engagements.

Program & Development

• Complete a 10-week program beginning in June.
• Participate in a 1.5-week intensive training program.
• Build relationships through formal mentoring and Summer Associate networking events.
• Become eligible for a full-time offer after completing the program.

Candidate Requirements

• Pursue an MBA from a top academic institution in the United States.
• Have relevant work experience.
• Demonstrate strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualities
