About the role
Citi’s Investment Banking Full-Time Analyst Program in New York offers a two-year opportunity supporting mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financings for corporate, financial services, and public sector clients. Analysts receive six weeks of training before joining an investment banking team, developing transaction analysis, financial modeling, valuation, presentation, and coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze company information, including industry research and financial data.
- Build financial models covering valuations, discounted cash flow, financing, and comparative analyses.
- Create and finalize business development presentations.
- Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams.
- Prepare internal documentation related to controls and compliance regulations.
Program Structure
- The two-year Analyst Program starts in July with six weeks of training.
- After training, analysts join one investment banking team for the remainder of the program.
- Analysts may be invited to continue for a third year.
- Third-year analysts may remain in their group or apply for a one-year domestic or international rotation.
- Eligible third-year analysts may be promoted to Associate.
