Banking - Capital Markets, Summer Associate, New York (North America – 2027)

About the role

Citi’s Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance team is seeking Summer Associates for a 10-week New York program beginning in June 2027. Associates will support debt capital markets transactions for corporate and private equity clients through industry research, project execution, and presentation development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry analysis and research to advise corporate clients.
• Manage multiple banking projects while balancing time and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop new business presentations.
• Support originating, underwriting, marketing, structuring, and executing debt capital markets transactions.

Program Details

• The 10-week program starts in June 2027.
• The program begins with a 1.5-week intensive training program.
• Formal mentoring and Summer Associate events provide networking opportunities across Citi.
• Successful participants become eligible for a full-time offer after completing the program.

Preferred Qualifications
