About the role

Citi’s Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program in San Francisco offers students experience supporting corporate clients with financial analysis, credit and risk assessment, capital markets analysis, transaction structuring, and client solutions. Analysts collaborate with product partners and other Citi teams during a ten-week summer program beginning in June.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow, and capital markets analysis.
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
• Liaise with product partners across Citi.
• Assist with developing and presenting new ideas to clients.
• Structure deals and transactions.

Program Details

• The ten-week Summer Analyst Program starts in June.
• The program begins with an in-depth one-and-a-half-week training program.
• Participants may join Citi’s mentorship program for additional guidance during and after the program.
• Top-performing Summer Analysts often return to Citi as Full-Time Analysts after graduation.

Requirements

• Graduation between December 20267 and June 2028.
• Preferred GPA of 3.3 or above.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to learning, personal growth, and career development.
• Passion for client service and delivering strong project results.
• Integrity, ethical decision-making, and ability to work effectively in teams.

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is advantageous but not required.
• Desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry.
