About the role

Citi’s 10-week Internal Audit Summer Analyst internship in Dallas provides real-world assurance experience across a core business or global function. Interns receive classroom training, mentoring, networking and cross-functional exposure while assessing governance, risk management and internal controls. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time Internal Audit Analyst Programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent and timely assurance over governance, risk management, and internal control environments.
• Support a core business or global function and contribute value to assigned teams.
• Gain cross-functional exposure through real-world work during the 10-week program.
• Present accomplishments and lessons learned to senior Internal Audit management.

Program Experience

• The program begins in June with a three-day training program introducing Citi and Internal Audit.
• Receive structured classroom training, individual development opportunities, and senior and junior mentoring.
• Participate in networking opportunities and senior speaker events with Internal Audit professionals.
• Top-performing Summer Analysts may be considered for full-time Internal Audit Analyst Programs.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with graduation expected between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Do not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or at any time in the future.
• Demonstrate analytical, oral and written communication skills, collaboration, and ability to meet objectives.
• Show creativity, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to multitask.
