Citi offers a 6-month off-cycle internship in Frankfurt for penultimate or final year students interested in Markets Sales, Trading, and Structuring. Interns gain hands-on experience on the trading floor, client interaction, and market analysis across various asset classes.

Role and Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze macro market and industry information daily to support client ideas.
- Provide clients with market content, updated analysis, and daily news.
- Support confirmation and settlement issue resolution and process improvements.
- Organize marketing activities including Corporate and Analyst Access for institutional clients.
- Optimize client task processes such as Post Trade Reports and activity recaps.

Markets Solutions Sales Tasks
- Build tools to identify business trends and investment opportunities.
- Work on structured products and exotic options pricing requests.
- Focus on pre and post trade services with Origination, Valuation, Middle and Back Office.
- Conduct research to identify new products, clients, and trends.
- Manage small projects including coordination, follow-ups, and call notes.

Training and Development
- Work alongside experienced professionals from day one with direct client contact.
- Participate in work shadowing across desks and asset classes on the trading floor.
- Receive increasing responsibility and client interaction as knowledge grows.
- Develop skills through active participation and team collaboration.

Candidate Requirements
- Good understanding of finance and strong interest in Markets; prior experience advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, self-starter, team player.
- Expected or achieved 2.1 or equivalent undergraduate degree.
- Penultimate or final year university or business school student.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
