About the role
Citi’s 10-week Services Summer Analyst Program in Dublin offers university students hands-on experience supporting institutional financial services. Following initial training and placement, analysts contribute to market research, financial analysis, business development, client engagement, process optimisation, and technology-enabled initiatives involving analytics and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on industry trends and macroeconomic factors.
- Support business development, product commercialisation, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Assist process optimisation projects designed to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Analyse client data to identify opportunities and improve service offerings.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Participate in networking, training sessions, and leadership discussions.
Program Details
- The program lasts 10 weeks and provides hands-on, on-the-job learning.
- The initial week includes training and placement based on interests and business needs.
- Potential placements involve financial analysis, business development, client engagement, and market research.
- Training, mentorship, career development sessions, and networking opportunities are available.
- Successful participants may be invited to return as full-time Analysts after graduation.
Requirements
- University student graduating in Summer 2028 and on track for a 2.1 degree or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, lookups, and basic modelling.
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Interest in financial services and technology’s impact on efficiency, clients, and risk management.
- Accuracy, organisation, integrity, resilience, urgency, and ability to work autonomously.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to analytical platforms or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools.
- Curiosity about artificial intelligence methodologies and real-world business applications.
- Innovative, strategic approach and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
