About the role
Citi’s 10-week Dublin Summer Analyst Program offers university students hands-on experience in Services, supporting institutional clients through financial analysis, market research, business development, client engagement, and process improvement. Participants receive initial training, own impactful projects, develop analytical and communication skills, and may be invited to return as full-time analysts after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on industry trends and macroeconomic factors.
- Develop materials supporting business development, product commercialisation, and revenue growth opportunities.
- Support process optimisation initiatives that improve efficiency and mitigate risk, including evaluating AI-powered automation.
- Analyse client data to identify opportunities and improve service offerings using analytical techniques.
- Prepare reports and presentations communicating complex analysis and AI-generated insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Participate in networking events, training sessions, and leadership discussions.
Program Details
- Complete a 10-week Summer Analyst Program combining training with hands-on, on-the-job learning.
- Attend an initial training week before placement based on interests and business needs.
- Work with an assigned team across financial analysis, business development, client engagement, and market research.
- Access mentorship, career development sessions, and networking opportunities with senior leaders and professionals.
- Successful participants may be invited to return as full-time Analysts upon graduation.
Requirements
- Be a university student graduating in Summer 2028 and on track to achieve a 2.1 or equivalent.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Show interest in financial services and how technology and AI are transforming the industry.
- Demonstrate accuracy, organisation, time management, personal integrity, resilience, and willingness to learn.
- Work autonomously, take initiative, and execute quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to analytical platforms or eagerness to learn AI-specific tools is beneficial.
- Applicants from all academic disciplines are considered.
