About the role

Citi’s Nordic Investment Banking team in Stockholm seeks Placement Analysts for up to six months starting in January or July 2027. Analysts support mergers, acquisitions, strategic advisory, capital-markets transactions, financial analysis, valuation, business development materials, coordination, and internal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse company information, industry research, and financial data supporting investment banking transactions.
• Develop financial models covering company valuations, discounted cash flow, financing, and comparative analyses.
• Create and finalise business development presentations.
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams.
• Prepare internal documentation, including control and compliance materials.

Requirements

• Be in the final year of university or have graduated.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance and an interest in finance and business.
