Banking - Investment Banking, Placement Analyst, Stockholm - Sweden, 2027 - January and July Intake

About the role

Join Citi’s Nordic Investment Banking team in Stockholm as a Placement Analyst for up to six months from a January or July 2027 intake. Support strategic advisory, mergers and acquisitions, financing, capital markets transactions, financial analysis, valuation modelling, presentations, coordination, and internal documentation while developing investment banking expertise.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse company information, conduct industry research, and organise financial data for transactions.
• Develop financial models covering company valuations, discounted cash flow, financing, and comparative analyses.
• Create and finalise presentations supporting new business development.
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams.
• Prepare internal documentation, including materials related to control and compliance regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Applicants should be in their final university year or have already graduated.
• Demonstrated interest in finance and business, supported by strong academic performance.
• Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language is required.
• Show intellectual curiosity, proactive problem-solving, and a desire to learn.
• Bring strong communication, planning, organisational, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.
