About the role
Citi's Milan Investment Banking team seeks a six-month Placement Analyst Intern starting January 2027. The role supports corporate clients on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, underwriting, and capital-markets transactions through industry research, financial modelling, valuation, corporate-finance analysis, and client-development activities.
Responsibilities
- Research industries and analyze trends related to business development.
- Build financial models, assess valuations, and evaluate corporate-finance solutions.
- Coordinate client data and assist with presenting new ideas to clients.
Training and Development
- Join an Investment Banking team for the internship's duration.
- Receive guidance from senior analysts and associates on developing analyst skills.
- Demonstrate strong performance for potential consideration of a three-month extension.
