About the role
Citi's Frankfurt Investment Banking team is offering a three-month 2027 Placement Analyst internship. Interns will support M&A and capital markets transactions through research, financial modelling, valuation, presentations, and coordination with project teams. High-performing interns may be considered for the following year's Investment Banking Full Time Analyst programme.
Responsibilities
- Research industries and companies, revise financial data, and support transaction analysis.
- Build financial models covering valuations, discounted cash flow analysis, financing, and comparative analyses.
- Prepare and finalize business development and client presentation materials.
- Coordinate tasks with internal and external project teams.
- Prepare internal documentation, including control and compliance materials.
- Use AI-powered tools appropriately for research, financial analysis, and presentations.
Program Details
- Join the Frankfurt Investment Banking team for a three-month internship starting in 2027.
- Become fully integrated into project teams advising corporate and financial sponsor clients.
- Top-performing Placement Analysts may be hired into the following year's Full Time Analyst programme.
