About the role
Full-time Investment Banking Analyst role in Stockholm supporting strategic advisory, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets fundraising, valuation, financial modelling, research, and client transactions. The role works with senior bankers, prepares analysis and recommendations, and requires relevant experience, strong communication, resilience under pressure, financial analysis capability, and English plus a Nordic language.
Responsibilities
- Support senior bankers on client transactions, projects, and assignments as part of the Investment Banking team.
- Organise and analyse sophisticated financial data for client proposals and strategic plans.
- Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials, and statistical exhibits for pitches and live transactions.
- Conduct economic and financial research, evaluating company performance against industry and market trends.
- Build complex financial models for valuation purposes and support mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions.
- Assess business risks, follow applicable regulations and policies, and escalate control issues transparently.
Requirements
- One to two years of relevant experience and experience creating financial analysis.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
