About the role
Investment Banking Analyst in Citi’s Madrid Banking team, joining in July 2027. The role supports capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance advisory, valuation, financial modelling, research, and transaction execution. Analysts work with senior CIB professionals, prepare client materials, assess companies and markets, and manage risk and controls.
Responsibilities
- Support senior CIB professionals on client transactions, projects, assignments, and Investment Banking activities.
- Organise and analyse complex financial data for client proposals, strategic plans, pitches, and active deals.
- Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials, statistical exhibits, and other client presentation materials.
- Conduct economic, financial, company, industry, and market research to support advisory and deal execution.
- Build and maintain financial models for valuation and strategic decision-making, while evaluating company performance against market trends.
- Manage risks, protect firm and client assets, follow applicable requirements, escalate control issues, and communicate effectively under pressure.
