About the role

Frankfurt-based Investment Banking internship supporting capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, underwriting, and strategic advisory assignments. Intern Analysts research companies and industries, build valuation and financing models, prepare client presentations, coordinate project teams, and support compliance-related documentation while developing through Citi’s mentorship program.

Responsibilities

• Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, underwriting, and distribution of equity, debt, and derivative securities.
• Collect and analyze company information, conduct industry research, and organize financial data.
• Develop financial models covering company valuations, discounted cash flow analysis, financing, and comparative analyses.
• Create and finalize business development presentations for client and internal use.
• Coordinate activities with internal and external working teams.
• Prepare internal documentation and support compliance and control requirements.

Training and Development

• Participate in Citi’s mentorship program, which provides additional training and guidance.
