About the role

Six-month Financing Debt Capital Markets internship in Citi’s Paris team, starting January 2027. The intern supports origination and execution of fixed-income transactions for financial institution and corporate clients across France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, while preparing market analysis, transaction materials, pricing updates, and client-facing research alongside senior bankers.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members with origination and execution of benchmark bonds, loans, and private placements.
• Prepare pitch books during the preliminary stages of transactions.
• Collect market information supporting client coverage and decision-making.
• Prepare term sheets and indicative pricing updates.
• Condense research into macroeconomic and credit market updates for clients.

Team and Products

• Work within Citi’s Paris Financing Debt Capital Markets team alongside a small group of bankers.
• Advise clients on issuing fixed-income products and managing their capital structure.
• Collaborate closely with Markets and Corporate and Investment Banking departments.
• Cover financial institution and corporate clients across France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

Program Details

• Recruitment is for six-month internships running from January through June 2027.
