About the role

Citi’s Italy Corporate Banking Team seeks a Relationship Analyst Placement Intern in Milan for six months from January 2027. You will support customer documentation, KYC, ownership analysis, financial analysis, and internal transaction-approval materials for institutional customers. The role requires strong academics, Italian and English fluency, attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain customer documentation for institutional banking clients.
• Support Know-Your-Customer activities and company ownership analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis for corporate banking activities.
• Prepare internal materials supporting transaction approvals for institutional customers.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrate excellent academic performance and availability from January 2027.
• Apply strong attention to detail, business sense, planning, and organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively, collaborate in teams, and show strong personal commitment.
• Demonstrate integrity, ethical decision-making, and a desire to understand financial services.
• Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is advantageous but not required.
