About the role

Citi’s Frankfurt Corporate Banking team is hiring Placement Analysts for a 2027 internship. The three-month program, which may be extended, offers training and practical experience in financial analysis, credit and risk assessment, capital markets, client ideas, product partnerships, and deal structuring. Strong performers may receive offers for the Analyst Program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis.
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
• Liaise with product partners across Citi.
• Assist with developing and presenting new ideas to clients.
• Structure deals as part of the Corporate Banking team.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent university grades and strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to learning, personal growth, career development, and teamwork.
• Integrity, ethical decision-making, and interest in the financial industry.
• Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is advantageous but not required.
