About the role

Citi’s Frankfurt Corporate Banking Placement Analyst Internship offers a three-month 2027 placement, potentially extendable, supporting client-focused work across financial analysis, credit risk, capital markets, liquidity and funding strategies. Interns receive training and team support, collaborate with product partners, and may be considered for the Analyst Program based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis.
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
• Liaise with product partners across Citi.
• Assist with developing and presenting new ideas to clients.
• Support deal structuring activities.

Team Focus

• Corporate Bankers advise clients on capital structure, liability management, liquidity, funding, risk management, and investment solutions.
• The team partners with Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination.
• Placement analysts work with a Corporate Banking team throughout the program.
