About the role

Citi’s Corporate Banking team in Amsterdam seeks a Placement Analyst for a three- to six-month internship starting between January and June 2027. You will analyse financial statements, cash flows, credit and capital markets, support client ideas and deal structuring, and collaborate with product partners while developing corporate banking expertise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis.
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
• Liaise with product partners across Citi.
• Assist with developing and presenting new ideas to clients.
• Support deal structuring activities.

Team and placement

• Join Citi’s Corporate Banking team in Amsterdam for the internship duration.
• Work with Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination teams.
• Develop knowledge of corporate banking through training and on-the-job support.
