About the role
Citi seeks full-time Corporate Banking Analysts in Frankfurt to support relationship-focused work with corporate clients. The role covers financial statement and credit analysis, cash-flow modelling, capital markets, liquidity and funding strategies, client materials, and deal structuring. A structured training programme supports graduates from any degree discipline.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash-flow modelling, capital markets, risk, and credit analysis.
- Liaise with product partners across Citi, including Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination.
- Assist with presenting and developing new ideas for clients.
- Support deal structuring and advise on capital structure, liquidity, funding, and risk management.
Training and Programme
- The analyst programme begins in mid-July with in-depth training before joining the Frankfurt team.
- Training covers Corporate Banking fundamentals, relevant financial topics, and Citi’s culture.
- On-the-job training continues after placement with the Frankfurt team.
- Recruitment takes place on a rolling basis, so candidates are encouraged to apply early.
Candidate Profile
- Be in the final year of university or have already graduated, in any degree discipline.
- Expected or achieved German undergraduate grade between 1.0 and 2.3, or equivalent.
- Fluent in English and German, with an interest in business and financial services.
- Strong communication, planning, organisational, teamwork, learning, and career-development skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical decision-making, and desire to understand the financial industry.
