About the role
Citi is hiring full-time Corporate Banking Analysts in Frankfurt for 2027. Analysts support client relationships and advise on capital structure, liquidity, funding, risk management, investment solutions, and deal structuring. The role includes comprehensive training, financial analysis, client presentations, and collaboration with Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis.
- Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
- Liaise with product partners across Citi.
- Assist with developing and presenting new ideas to clients.
- Support deal structuring and corporate banking client discussions.
Training and Development
- The analyst program begins with in-depth training in mid-July.
- Training covers corporate banking fundamentals, financial topics, and Citi’s culture.
- Additional training continues on the job after joining the Frankfurt team.
- The role supports personal growth, career development, and a deeper understanding of financial services.
Requirements
- Be in the final year of university or have already graduated.
- Expected or achieved German undergraduate GPA of 1.0–2.3, or equivalent, in any degree discipline.
- Demonstrate interest in business and financial services.
- Show strong communication, planning, organisational, teamwork, and learning skills.
- Demonstrate integrity and ethical decision-making.
- Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is advantageous but not required.
