Banking, Corporate Banking, Summer Analyst, Amsterdam - The Netherlands, 2027

About the role

Ten-week Summer Analyst internship with Citi’s Amsterdam Corporate Banking team, beginning in June. You will support financial, credit, risk and capital-markets analysis, collaborate with product partners, help develop client ideas and structure deals. The program includes one week of training and may lead to a full-time Analyst role after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow modelling and capital markets analysis.
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
• Liaise with product partners across Citi.
• Assist with presenting and developing new ideas for clients.
• Structure deals and support corporate banking client discussions.

Program Details

• The 10-week Summer Analyst Program starts in June.
• The program begins with one week of training.
• You will then join the Amsterdam Corporate Banking team for the remainder of the program.
• Top-performing Summer Analysts may return after graduation as full-time Analysts.
• Recruitment is conducted on a rolling basis; early applications are encouraged.

Requirements

• Be in the penultimate or final year of university.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance and an interest in business.

• Work effectively in team environments and demonstrate integrity and ethical decision-making.
• Developing a deep understanding of the financial industry is expected.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent Dutch is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is advantageous but not required.
