About the role

Citi’s Stockholm Corporate Banking team is seeking a Placement Analyst for six months from March to August 2027. The role provides training and support while involving financial statement analysis, risk and credit analysis, client idea development, product-partner coordination, and deal structuring. Candidates should be university students with strong academic performance and English and Nordic-language fluency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting, financial statement, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis.
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
• Liaise with product partners across the business.
• Assist with presenting and developing new ideas for clients.
• Structure deals as part of the Corporate Banking team.
• Work with Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination teams.

Training and Development

• Join Citi’s Corporate Banking team in Stockholm for the full six-month placement.
• Receive training and support designed to increase knowledge of Corporate Banking and financial services.
• Develop understanding of capital structure, liability management, liquidity, funding, risk management, and investment solutions.
• Build communication, planning, organizational, teamwork, and professional development skills.
