About the role

Citi’s Stockholm Corporate Banking team seeks a Placement Analyst for six months from March to August 2027. The role offers exposure to financial statement analysis, credit and risk assessment, capital markets, client ideas, product partners, and deal structuring, with training and support for students from any degree discipline.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, and capital markets analysis.
• Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
• Liaise with product partners and support client-related activities.
• Assist with presenting and developing new ideas for clients.
• Structure deals.

Team and Training

• Join Citi’s Corporate Banking team in Stockholm for the six-month placement.
• Receive training and support to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Work with partners across Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination.
• Gain exposure to client discussions on capital structure, liquidity, funding, risk management, and investment solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Be in the penultimate or final year of university.
• Expected to achieve Väl Godkänd or above, or an equivalent undergraduate result.
• Demonstrate an interest in business and the financial industry.
• Be fluent in English and one Nordic language: Swedish, Danish, Finnish, or Norwegian.
• Show strong communication, planning, organisational, teamwork, and learning skills.
• Demonstrate integrity and commitment to ethical decision-making.

Additional Information

• Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is advantageous but not required.
