About the role

Citi’s Commercial Bank seeks Summer Analysts for a 10-week Stockholm program beginning in June 2027. Analysts support Relationship Managers serving business clients, conduct research and financial analysis, contribute to lending and deal processes, and collaborate with product, risk, legal, operations, compliance, and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company research, industry analysis, financial analysis, and financial modelling, including valuation and discounted cash flow analysis.
• Support commercial lending across revolving credit facilities, term loans, syndicated loans, leveraged loans, and cross-border loans.
• Partner with Bankers and Product teams to identify solutions supporting clients’ operational and growth objectives.
• Prepare business development presentations, pitch books, prospect memoranda, and other client-related materials.
• Support deal management and take ownership of the client experience throughout the coverage process.
• Collaborate with product, credit risk, controls, legal, marketing, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams.

Program and Development

• Join a Coverage team and work directly with Relationship Managers on a portfolio of clients.
• Learn about the Commercial Bank’s target market, value proposition, and client coverage model.
• Develop understanding of credit products, loan underwriting, structuring, documentation, and end-to-end credit processes.
• Receive formal and hands-on training in sales, credit, products, technology, and professional skills.
• Participate in junior and senior mentorship throughout the program.
• Gain experience engaging with clients, prospects, and centers of influence.

Candidate Profile

• Dynamic individuals passionate about partnering with stakeholders to achieve shared goals are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Candidates should be in their penultimate university year, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Expected graduation year is 2028, with any degree discipline considered.
• Candidates should expect or have achieved Väl Godkänd or equivalent undergraduate results.
• Fluent English is required; fluency in a Nordic language is preferred but not essential.
