About the role

Citi’s Commercial Bank seeks full-time analysts in Stockholm for its July 2027 programme. Analysts support client coverage, financial analysis, lending, credit processes, product solutions and deal management for businesses with annual sales of $10 million to over $3 billion. The programme combines formal training, hands-on experience and mentorship.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Research companies and industries, analyse financial data, and perform valuation, discounted cash flow, and pro-forma analyses.
  • Support secured, unsecured, term, syndicated, leveraged, and cross-border commercial lending processes.
  • Partner with bankers and product teams to identify solutions supporting clients’ operational and expansion goals.
  • Manage client experience and contribute to deal management, business development presentations, pitch books, and prospect memoranda.
  • Work with product, credit risk, controls, legal, marketing, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Develop understanding of client coverage models, credit products, underwriting, documentation, and portfolio monitoring.

Training and Development

  • The programme starts in July 2027 with in-depth formal training and hands-on experience.
  • Ongoing training covers sales, credit, products, technology, and professional skills.
  • Analysts receive structured support through junior and senior mentorship.
  • Analysts are matched with a Commercial Banking team based on interests and business needs.
  • Training covers Citi’s credit and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • The programme develops understanding of client engagement, credit origination, and global commercial banking solutions.

Requirements

  • Be in the final year of university or have already graduated.
  • Expected to achieve Väl Godkänd, equivalent to pass with distinction at undergraduate level, scored 100–109.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Show interest in business and enthusiasm for partnering with stakeholders to achieve goals.
  • Be fluent in English.
  • A Nordic language is desirable but not essential.
