About the role
Citi’s Commercial Bank seeks full-time analysts in Frankfurt for a July 2027 start. Analysts support client coverage, financial analysis, lending, credit underwriting, deal management, and product solutions for businesses with annual sales from $10 million to more than $3 billion, while completing structured training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Research companies and industries, analyse financial data, and perform valuation, discounted cash flow, and pro-forma modelling.
- Support commercial lending, including revolving credit lines, term loans, syndicated loans, leveraged loans, and cross-border financing.
- Partner with bankers and product teams to identify solutions supporting clients’ operational and expansion goals.
- Prepare business development presentations, pitch books, prospect memos, and other client-related materials.
- Coordinate with credit risk, legal, compliance, operations, technology, marketing, and other internal teams.
- Support deal management and help deliver a strong client experience.
Training and Development
- Begin with in-depth training combining formal instruction and hands-on experience.
- Receive ongoing training in sales, credit, products, technology, and professional skills.
- Participate in junior and senior mentorship throughout the program.
- Learn client coverage, credit products, loan structuring, documentation, monitoring, and Citi policies and procedures.
- Be matched with a Commercial Banking team based on interests and business needs.
Requirements
- Be in the final year of university or have already graduated.
- Expected to achieve or have achieved a 2,3 or lower at undergraduate level in any discipline.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Show interest in business and finance.
- Be dynamic and passionate about partnering with stakeholders to achieve goals.
- Be fluent in English and German.
